Self-assessments and Reporting
The Editor includes specific building blocks to get feedback from the players on the game you’ve built and also measure – through self-assessment – the progress they’ve made.
Reporting on all of the data gathered by these blocks in available in the Admin tool.
Self-assessment
The objective is to measure the progress a player has made after playing the game.
Results are graphically displayed in the Admin dashboard
Tip: Self-assessment is also a tool to make the players aware of the skills they have and how they can work on improving them.
To measure the players’ progress:
- Add the building block “Self-assessment Pre” at the very beginning of the game
- Write between 1 and 10 questions for which the answer is always a grade between 0 and 10 i.e. “From 0 to 10, how do you evaluate your communication skills?”
- Add the building block “Self-assessment Post” at the very end of the game. Note: you don’t have to configure this building block, as the same questions will repeat itself to the player.
- Consult the Admin dashboard to see the reports
Survey
We use the Net Promoter score to measure the students’ satisfaction with their learning experience.

The Survey Building block also asks for written feedback from your players.
To collect NPS scores and feedack from your players:
- Add the “Survey” building block at the very end of the game. We usually recommend adding it after the “Self-assessment – Post” building block.
Note: This building block is not editable, there are 4 questions pre-configured.
- Once your game has been played by some users, the survey results will be available in Admin in the Main Dashboard and in the following section:
Reports > Survey lists, Student lists > Student Detail > Surveys
