Animation

This building block opens up the possibility of animating the characters in your scenes.

In-game view

Configuration

  1. Choose the character you want to animate in the scene.
  2. Choose what type of animation you want the character to have.
  3. Choose how many times you want the animation to repeat.

Additional Options

Enable the interaction during the animation: If left unchecked the player will have to wait for the animation to finish before continuing play
Set as ongoing animation: if checked, this animation will repeat until the end of the scene or until replaced with another animation.

Tips and tricks

  • You can add animation to a character at any time, either within its own flow or in another element’s flow.
  • If you want the character to be animated right when you enter the scene, place the “Animation” block after the “Trigger.”
  • Try to animate your characters so that there’s a relationship between the animations (happy, thinking, looking for something, etc.) and what’s happening in the game.
