How can we help?

Help for students | Gamelearn Academy

Credits: Deploying your course

If you are on a Seats-based subscription plan with seats see our instructions on publishing and setting the visibility of your games on your Campus. If you’re unsure what kind of plan you have you can check by clicking on “my account “ from the button at the top-right corner.

Once your game is tested and ready to go, there are different ways to make it available to play:

  1. Setting up a Campus where your learners can access the games.
  2. Using SCORM to access them from an LMS

Note: If you want your owner client to be SCORM get in touch with support.

Setting up a campus for access to your games

Here’s a checklist for you:

Using SCORM

How our SCORM connector works:

  • You download a SCORM .zip file and upload it to the LMS where your learners will access it. We support SCORM version 1.2
  • When the SCORM is played a token user will be created in the Admin and credits will be consumed.
  • Once opened by the player the game will still run on Gamelearn’s arcade, meaning you can still push immediate updates to your game and publish translations that will be instantly available. No re-uploading SCORMS for every update.
  • This also means that you need an active plan for your SCORM game to work and your players will need an internet connection.

Important: When choosing whether to use SCORM or the Campus consider the following:

  • Learner progress data may be not available in the Admin for SCORM clients. It depends on your LMSs configuration.
  • SCORM clients cannot use referrals
  • Players of SCORM accessed games cannot participate in the leaderboards of the Campus nor will they receive notifications.

Downloading the SCORM .zip

Prerequisite: Client must be created with “SCORM client” checked.

  1. Go to “Clients” on the left menu and choose the client you want.
  2. Go to the “Courses” section and on the game you want to set click on “View/Edit”
  3. From the elipsis at the top right (the three little dots) click on “Download SCORM package”
  4. Optionally, you can also download the documents associated with the game and put them at the disposition of the students.
