Guide to modifying the templates: Exclusive
Exclusive is a template, or shell, where you can easily embed your training and/or internal communication content to make the learning process a unique and different experience.
In this adventure, the player will take on the role of journalist Liam Walsh, who will infiltrate your company and connect with the employees who are hiding extremely important information.
Exclusive is a game divided into 3 levels. On each level, you can insert a lesson or training content, as well as a test that will help you evaluate the knowledge acquired. This means you’ll need to organize your training material into 3 parts.
How to prepare your content
Each lesson/content block in the game is configured with the “Text” building block by default, but you can change the format to video, PDF, URL, and images, or combine different resources. We’ve also added the Test building block (with or without a timer), which allows you to measure the knowledge gained. In the Test building block, you can write one or more questions, each accompanied by three possible answers, i.e. one correct and two incorrect.
PRACTICAL ADVICE
- Collect, revise, and update existing learning content, or create new content to be included in the training.
- The text must be correctly written and structured for easy reading and reference.
- PDF files should be no longer than 2-3 pages, and videos should not exceed 2-3 minutes.
- If some of your content is long reference material, use the “URL” building block and explain to your learners how, where, and when they can access this information, rather than including the entire content in a lesson.
- Don’t forget that one of the most important parts of the learning process is feedback, which students will see when they answer the test questions:
- Positive feedback: when the right option is selected, the feedback message congratulates and briefly explains why the answer is correct.
- Constructive feedback: Since we tend to learn more from mistakes, constructive feedback is important to explain to the student why they were incorrect and prepare them for the next question.
Quiz Questions Template
For each lesson, determine which aspects or topics you want students to remember, understand, or apply in real life. Use only these questions to prepare your tests. This is the building block you must complete in the Editor, without exceeding the maximum number of characters allowed.
Customize your game
Any building block of the script you see in UPPERCASE means that it’s an editable main building block that you must customize. You can also customize the game in other ways, for example:
- Change the final character and their message
