Create a MARS match and enroll players
In this article, you will learn how to create a match in MARS, configure its settings, and enroll players.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you:
- Have administrator permissions in MARS.
- Have the players who will participate in the match available.
- Have a document ready if you want to generate questions using AI.
Create a MARS match
Steps:
To create a new MARS match, follow these steps:
- From the main menu, go to MARS – Matches.
- Here, you can view all existing matches, manage their settings, and create a new one.
- Click the Create game button. If you haven’t created any matches yet, you’ll find the Create game button in the center of the screen.
- Complete all the required fields to continue with the match creation.
- Next, configure the required match settings:
- Start date
- Session information
You can also configure the following options:
- Federations
- Leaderboard visibility
- Non-playing days (if applicable)
Important: If you need a configuration that is not available, please contact your Account Manager.
Enroll players in a MARS match
Steps:
To enroll players, go to the Enrollments section.
You can add participants using either:
- A CSV file.
- The player upload table.
Once the upload is complete, verify that all players have been added correctly.
Important: All players in the same match must use the same language, as the questions will only be displayed in that language.
